Our Irish based team will work closely with you to build your Extended Team. Your team will be an extension of your local team. Based on your work requirements we find the best people to do this work for you. We hire them as our employees, looking after all the legal and HR requirements, but they are dedicated to you. They take direction from you, they do whatever work you need them to do and they work the hours that suit you. No recruitment costs; no need to purchase laptops or phones; no hidden extras. You pay an affordable monthly fee for a dedicated worker.

Let’s say you need to build a finance team or an IT development team or a back-office team of five people. The cost of sourcing and then hiring these people in Ireland or the UK could be up to 50% more. However if you split your team between local and extended, then you drive efficiencies and cost savings in your business.

Building your Extended Team involves you in the hiring process (if that’s what you want). You have control over the team you build and the work they do with minimal time input by you and none of the cost of recruitment and onboarding new staff members.

One of our Client Coordinators based in Dublin and Cork will talk with you to better understand the work you need done and the type of skills you need your workers to have. They’ll answer your questions and ensure your business (and what you need) is the right fit for an Extended Team model. We’re interested in building successful teams with companies as forward thinking as we are.

Based on your conversation with our Client Coordinator, we’ll set up a face to face or video meeting with one of our representatives in Ireland or the UK. They’ll work with you to build an ideal Worker Specification (very similar to a job spec), and then the search for your first Extended Team member begins.

It’s worth mentioning at this stage that excellent English is a prerequisite for all our workers. We only put candidates in front of you that have already been screened for both technical ability and communication skills.

Once the right candidate is found they become an employee of Teams PLUS. They work from our offices in India with the highest levels of Security.

We undertake all the screening, checking, security of information, continuity of service and all related administration and operational controls required. For all legal and admin purposes, the candidates are employees of Teams PLUS. However they are exclusive to you and form part of your dedicated Extended Team.

Proof of concept

Teams PLUS is an extension of Contracting PLUS, a niche accountancy and tax practice working exclusively to support independent professional contractors operating through Umbrella Companies.

A little over 10 years ago we realised the benefits of having a true extension of our team who could perform important, yet low-value work at a cost that kept us competitive in our market.

We created our  own Extended Team – a team of high quality individuals processing back-office accounting transactions which allowed our Team in Ireland focus on higher-value work and client-facing activity.

Some of our partners saw the success we were having with this model and asked us to provide the same structure for them, and so Teams PLUS was born.

Today there are three or four Extended Team members behind every client-facing employee in our Contracting PLUS business and more than 150 extended team workers servicing our clients. They work seamlessly, commuting multiple times a day through video calls, instant messaging and collaborative work spaces.
